Split-Level Beach House
A coastal retreat of two linked volumes that step with the slope around a double-height living void overlooked by a mezzanine kitchen.
This contemporary beach house was designed as a relaxed coastal retreat that opens generously to its surroundings while responding to a gently sloping site. The house is organised as two distinct volumes linked by a connecting walkway, stepping with the natural topography.
At its heart is a double-height living space overlooked by a mezzanine kitchen, creating a strong vertical connection between levels and letting daylight wash through the interior. Open-plan living flows toward large glazed openings that dissolve the boundary between indoor and outdoor living.
A calm coastal palette — light walls, warm timber flooring and deep blue accent furnishings — reinforces the easy character of the project, documented here through plans, building sections and photorealistic interiors.
